therapy at wild + rooted

At wild + rooted, therapy is a supportive, collaborative space where you are met with care, curiosity, and respect. There is no one “right” reason to start therapy—whether you’re navigating stress, big life changes, relationship challenges, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, you’re welcome here.

Morgan provides trauma-informed therapy for children, teens, adults, couples, families, and first responders, with care tailored to each stage of life. With kids and younger clients, sessions often include play therapy, sand tray work, art, and movement—meeting them where they naturally communicate and helping them feel safe enough to express what words can’t always capture. When appropriate, EMDR is thoughtfully integrated in a developmentally supportive way.

For teens and adults, therapy may include a blend of talk therapy, parts work, EMDR, and skills-based approaches to help process past experiences, manage emotions, and build a stronger connection to yourself. Couples work is grounded in an attachment-focused, EFT-informed approach that helps partners better understand their patterns, communicate more clearly, and rebuild trust and closeness.

Morgan also has specialized training in working with first responders, with an understanding of the unique stressors, nervous system impacts, and identities that come with helping professions.

No matter who you are or where you’re starting, therapy here is about walking alongside you—at your pace—toward greater balance, resilience, and well-being.

consultation + training

At wild + rooted, we believe that organizational health begins with the people who make the mission possible. Our consultation and training services support leaders in strengthening the foundation of their organizations by prioritizing staff wellness, resilience, and trauma-informed practices. This work reduces turnover, increases effectiveness, and creates systems that can sustain impact over time.

Morgan Yaskus, LPC, brings both clinical expertise and organizational insight to this work. In addition to private practice, Morgan has completed the Foraker Certificate in Nonprofit Management and is pursuing a doctorate in Human Services with a specialization in Prevention, Intervention, and Advocacy. This dual lens—clinical and organizational—positions her to partner with leaders and boards on creating structures that foster resilience, innovation, and long-term sustainability.

Through consultation and staff development, wild + rooted helps organizations move beyond surface-level solutions to cultivate environments where staff feel supported, connected, and prepared to meet the challenges of their work. When leaders invest in the well-being of their teams, they strengthen not only their workforce, but also the quality and reach of the services their organizations provide.
