Meet Them Where They Are

Big emotions in little bodies can feel overwhelming—for kids and for the adults who love them. Whether your child is showing signs of anxiety, sadness, anger, or simply seems "off," therapy provides a space to sort through those feelings in developmentally appropriate ways. I use play-based techniques, art, storytelling, and other forms of creative expression to help children process what they may not have the words for yet. My approach is warm, grounded, and guided by the belief that all behavior is communication—even the hard-to-handle stuff.

Support Through the Tough Stuff

Adolescence is a time of enormous change, and sometimes, that shows up as risky behavior, withdrawal, mood swings, or defiance. If your teen is struggling with identity, substance use, depression, or anxiety—or if you're just not sure how to reach them anymore—therapy can help. I bring deep experience from working in residential treatment settings with teens navigating complex, co-occurring mental health challenges. My approach balances clinical insight with genuine connection. I work to earn trust and help teens feel respected, while also keeping parents in the loop and part of the journey.

Family is Part of the Process

You don’t have to do this alone. I believe therapy is most effective when caregivers are involved in meaningful ways. That might include regular updates, parenting support, or full-family sessions—whatever best supports your child and your household. Whether you're seeking help managing daily outbursts, navigating a crisis, or just want to better understand your child’s inner world, I’m here to walk alongside your family and help you grow together.
